Standard delivery takes 7–14 business days for most international destinations. Express options (3–5 business days) are available for select regions. Custom or bespoke orders may require an additional 5–10 business days for production before dispatch.

All mattresses are vacuum-rolled and compressed into a compact roll-pack for safe, efficient shipping. Upon unboxing, the mattress expands to its full size within 24–72 hours. We recommend allowing 48 hours before sleeping on it for optimal comfort.

Import duties and customs fees vary by destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer. We clearly declare all shipments at their full commercial value. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before ordering — our team can provide guidance on common destination countries.

We offer a 30-night sleep trial on all standard mattresses. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 nights of delivery and we will arrange a collection and full refund. Custom-sized or bespoke orders are non-refundable due to their made-to-measure nature.

Email us at hello@naturalmattresses.com with your order reference and reason for return. Our team will respond within 24–48 hours to arrange collection. Please keep the original packaging if possible — though this is not a requirement for returns.

For returns within the 30-night trial period, we cover the cost of collection from your address. For returns outside the trial window (e.g., warranty claims), collection costs may apply depending on your location and the nature of the issue.

Our mattresses are crafted from 100% natural, plant-based and animal-derived fibres including organic latex, natural wool, organic cotton, coir (coconut fibre), hemp, and bamboo. We use zero synthetic foams, no glue, no formaldehyde, and no flame-retardant chemicals.

Yes. We work exclusively with certified sustainable suppliers. Our latex is FSC-certified and sourced from responsibly managed rubber plantations. Wool is mulesing-free and sourced from certified farms. Cotton is GOTS-certified organic. All materials are traceable from source to finished product.

Our products are made from natural fibres which are inherently hypoallergenic. Wool and latex are naturally resistant to dust mites, mould, and bacteria. However, individuals with specific latex allergies should avoid our latex-containing products. Please contact us if you have specific allergy concerns and we can recommend suitable alternatives.

With proper care, our natural mattresses last 10–20 years — significantly longer than conventional foam mattresses. Natural fibres are resilient and self-regulating. We recommend rotating your mattress 180° every 3–6 months to ensure even wear.

Our products carry a range of internationally recognised certifications including GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) for organic cotton and wool, FSC certification for latex, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for all finished textiles, and ECOCERT for organic materials. Yes. All our products are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which independently tests for over 100 harmful substances including pesticides, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and allergenic dyes. We also conduct our own internal quality testing at each manufacturing facility.

Yes — custom sizing is one of our specialities. We manufacture to any dimension, which makes us a popular choice for yacht berths, caravans, antique bed frames, and bespoke furniture. Custom orders typically require 10–15 business days for production. Please contact us with your exact dimensions.

Firmness preference depends on your sleeping position and body weight. Side sleepers generally benefit from a medium or medium-soft mattress to cushion shoulders and hips. Back and stomach sleepers typically prefer medium-firm to firm. Heavier individuals (over 90kg) often find firmer options more supportive. Our mattresses range from 15cm (slim profile, ideal for bunk beds or trundles) to 30cm (luxury deep profile). Standard residential mattresses are typically 20–25cm. Thickness affects both comfort and the type of bed frame required — we recommend at least 20cm for primary sleeping mattresses.
